INDIANA COMPUTERIZED DATA PROJECT
The Computerized Data Project (CODA) has been established to assist Indiana's State Education Agency (SEA) in planning, developing and implementing the data collection and reporting activities required for the functioning of the Division of Exceptional Learners. In order to fulfill this purpose CODA has implemented the use of the Integrated Electronic Management System (IEM) in Local Education Agencies (LEAs) across the state of Indiana. This implementation will facilitate the manipulation of child count data and the transfer of said data to the SEA.
Summer Data Collection 2009
The End of Year Data Collection is due Monday, July 14, 2009. All documents and disks related to this data collection should be in the CODA office on or before this date. All related documents were sent to each site's director on May 20. If you have not received the documents or would like additional copies they are available for download below.
IEM Updates for Summer Data Collection 2009
In preparation of the Summer Data Collection, updates have been made to the IEM application. Each site has been mailed a CD and instructions which, with the telephone assistance of your CODA consultant, will enable you to update your computer with the latest version of IEM.
Your CODA consultant will call you the week of May 18th to assist you in updating the software. When you speak with your consultant, you will need the enclosed CD and instructions sheet. If you have limited availability, you should call the CODA Project and any consultant will be able to assist you in copying the files. The update must be completed before you perform the Summer Data Collection submission.
If you have any concerns or questions about this process, please feel free to contact the CODA office.
Thank you for your cooperation,
Tracie Curtis
